Arclinea Boston

Boston, MA

Arclinea was started in 1925 in Vicenza, Italy, as a craft carpentry workshop. It went on to become a leader in the international luxury kitchen market. In 2001, Arclinea Boston opened as the company’s first flagship store in the United States. It features contemporary kitchens designed and coordinated by the Italian architect Antonio Citterio. Arclinea adapts technology and innovations used in professional kitchens to create personalized and livable residential kitchens. Whether galley-size or large, all are designed to maximize available space and ease of use. Arclinea also takes a ``green’’ approach, using environmentally-friendly materials and manufacturing practices. Clients begin by visiting the Boston showroom and meeting with an Arclinea architect, who helps explore the designs and choose the right materials and finishes to suit individual needs. Once the design is complete, an order is placed with Arclinea’s Italian headquarters, where a team of artisans with generations of experience builds the custom-made kitchen. Within months, it is crafted and sent to Boston, ready for installation by trained experts. Arclinea won Boston Magazine’s Best of Boston 2006 Award for best kitchen designer.
