NECN Dream Home: Beacon Hill

This week’s New England Dream Home is a tiny, antique-filled gem in Beacon Hill. Originally built for the staff of a large home on Mount Vernon Street, this home wasn’t always so polished. “We went and looked at it and I was furious. It was so small, even as a student, I’d never lived in such a small, confined space,” said Lise Davis, owner and interior designer. Davis, who was born in Denmark, has highlighted the home with several Danish antiques, with also serve a practical purpose – the home does not contain many cupboards or cabinets, so the antiques double as storage space.
