Martha's Vineyard Property Lists for Record $118M

A 314-acre property in West Tisbury, Mass. has hit the market for $118 million; a price that is believed to be the most expensive listing ever in Martha’s Vineyard. The home has 1,200 feet of waterfront property, two freshwater ponds, and a saltwater swimming pool outside. On the inside, the 5,600 square-foot, four-bedroom home has a gym, and a 12,000-bottle wine cellar. On top of all of that, the property features a 700-square-foot guesthouse on the grounds. The biggest sale on the island to this point was a $64 million sale in 2001 of Herring Creek Farm in Edgartown, according to a Wall Street Journal article. The current owner of the home, Gerry DeBlois, only lives in the property for about six months out of the year. To view the home and to read more, view the Wall Street Journal article by clicking here.
