America’s 50 Best Small Towns to Live in

The Boston Globe has put together a slideshow of CNNMoney's list of America’s 50 best small towns to live in. The list factors in economic viability, green space, good schools, and a strong sense of community. A number of New England communities have made the list, including Westford, Mass., at number 11. Westford is a rural town of 22,407 that features more than 2,000 acres of conservation land, two public beaches, the Nashoba Valley Ski Area, and a number of high-tech companies like Red hat and Juniper Networks. Also on the list, at 15 overall, is the Massachusetts town of Shrewsbury, Mass; where 36,048 people live. This scenic small town offers easy access to jobs in Worcester and Boston and features a town center packed with shops and diverse restaurants. But which town came in at number one? As it turns out, another Massachusetts town sat atop the list, as CNNMoney has named Sharon, Mass., the best small town to live in in the United States.
