Michael McCloskey Design Group is a multidisciplinary architecture, planning, and interior design firm in Marblehead, Mass., specializing in residential projects. ABOUT THE PRESIDENT
After earning architectural degrees from Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston Architectural Center, and Harvard University, Michael McCloskey moved to San Francisco to work as a senior urban designer at Bechtel. In 1985, he became a design consultant to architecture, construction, and development firms, working on a variety of international projects including hotels, casinos, shopping malls, restaurants, housing developments, and resorts. In 1993, McCloskey relocated his business to Marblehead, Mass., and founded his custom residential design firm, which since has completed more than 300 projects. He is a founding member of the Marblehead 20/20 Foundation, a community think tank dedicated to improving quality of life through good design, healthier environments, and better public spaces.Michael McCloskey Design Group
